Match Reports

Crowborough RFC

Spirited Performance by the Crows ......

In some tough conditions which put this game in doubt midweek, but the dry spell from early hours on Thursday helped out, and the game went ahead !

The Complete Performance.........

And a solid win on their travel's to North Kent.

Hastings & Bexhill are hammered in some testing conditions at Steel Cross.

A united performance, as the defense stands strong all afternoon.

Folkestone Rugby Club

Before the game the two teams were seemingly candidates for relegation having identical playing records.

The situation is now reversed and Folkestone are firmly in the bottom three and facing demotion.

An intense battle on a heavy pitch sees Folkestone get back to their winning ways.

A long journey down to Lewes in drizzle and then heavy rain was not conducive to slick handling on the heavy pitch. Although the rain did ease off the ball was wet and muddy which did not help either of the evenly matched sides.

Another loss at home for Folkestone, although they defended zealously.

In only their third home game since last November Folkestone were again struggling to field a settled team and this week had to call on the services of Will Turner – who first played for the Club in the mid 1980’s.
