This is the sixth in a series of Equalizer interviews with the people behind Crawley RFC

Joe Callus discovered his passion for rugby during his first game at school:
"Despite my team being beaten by ten tries I soon realised I really liked the game!"
Joe has played with Crawley RFC for seven years, initially joining the under fifteens and progressing through to the seniors.
In addition to playing for the 1sts, Joe also coaches the under thirteens. Certainly he is giving back to the club for all the positive input they have had on him, but Joe says he mainly likes to coach because he enjoys it so much.
"I love being around the club."
Like all the club's players Joe has to balance his home life and work life with his commitment to rugby. Joe says he is passionate about the game and committed to the continued success of Crawley RFC:
"There are no weak links in rugby, everybody plays their part."

Leighton Eves supports CRFC's Sunday Socials but in addition has been interviewing the committee, members, sponsors and players over the last few months to add insight into the people who make Crawley Rugby Club what it is today. You can contact him at admin@thisis.org.uk
