After years of devoted service to Crawley RFC, we say a heartfelt thank you to Lesley Morgan, who is stepping down from her role as Safeguarding Officer.

Lesley has worn many hats at the club over the years—always giving her time, energy, and care without hesitation. Most recently, as Safeguarding Officer, she’s been at the heart of making sure our club is a safe, inclusive, and welcoming place for young players and families. Her efforts have been crucial in helping our club uphold the values we stand for, both on and off the pitch.

We’re incredibly grateful for everything Lesley has done. Her presence will be missed in the day-to-day, but her legacy will continue in the strong foundation she’s helped build.

As Lesley steps down, we are now looking for a new volunteer to take on this important role. The Safeguarding Officer works closely with coaches, parents, and players to ensure the welfare and safety of all members, especially our youth teams. Full training and support are provided by the RFU and the club.
