Comedy on the Pitch is back!
Get ready for a night of belly laughs and unforgettable fun as Crawley Rugby Club transforms into the ultimate outdoor comedy venue. Join us on the 13th of July for our annual Comedy on the Pitch event, featuring a lineup of some of the UK's top comedic talents.
Headlining this year's show is the critically acclaimed comedian Jamali Maddix. Known for his unique voice and sharp perspective, Jamali brings his global comedy experience right to our stage. As a standout performer on shows like Nevermind the Buzzcocks and Taskmaster, his dynamic presence is guaranteed to captivate and entertain.
Joining Jamali is the award-winning Thanyia Moore, whose commanding stage presence and quick wit have earned her a slew of prestigious TV credits and a victory at the Funny Women Awards 2018. Thanyia's charismatic performance is sure to leave you wanting more.
We're also excited to welcome Russell Hicks, an American comic with a knack for provocative and exhilarating stand-up. Based in London, Russell’s clever mix of improvisation and scripted material makes him a favourite on both sides of the Atlantic.
The evening will be hosted by Ross McGrane, a top MC and Radio Essex presenter, known for his quick wit and engaging stage presence.

Location: Crawley Rugby Club, home of Crawley Comedy Club
Date: 13th July
Seating: Choose from table seating (up to 4 or 6 people) or general admission with rowed seating. Seating is not allocated, so arrive early to snag the best spots.
Weather Policy: The event will proceed unless heavy rain or extreme weather is forecast. Refunds or alternative dates will be offered if necessary.
Additional Info: An outdoor bar and a food truck will be available to make sure you have everything you need for a great evening. Remember to dress warmly and bring blankets!
