CHILD WELFARE AT CRAWLEY RFC
In 2002 Crawley RFC were very fortunate to be able to appoint Mrs Sue Keshavarz as the first qualified Club Child Welfare Officer in Sussex. Sue is approved by the RFU to process Criminal Record Bureaux checks. Under Sue’s Guidance the Club has instigated and published a “Child Protection Policy”.

As part of our Child Protection policy the Club has published guidelines for "Youth Photography" which are actively enforced.

All Club coaches will have CRB clearance forms submitted for approval by the end of September 2003. All new coaches are required to submit CRB clearance forms.

The Club has published and issued to all members involved with young persons a “Guidelines for Child Protection at Crawley Rugby Club” and “Code of Conduct for Team Coaches and Managers”.

The Club has a “Good Parents Code” which is displayed in the Clubhouse and includes in youth section membership packs.
